Section 400.791 - DefinitionsAs used in this act:
(a) "Departments" means the department of community health, the department of human services, and the department of education.(b) "Evidence-based program" means a home visitation program described in section 3.(c) "Home visitation" means a voluntary service delivery strategy that is carried out in relevant settings, primarily in the homes of families with children ages 0 to 5 years and pregnant women.(d) "Home visiting system" means the infrastructure and programs that support and provide home visitation.(e) "Promising program" means a home visitation program described in section 3.Added by 2012, Act 291,s 1, eff. 3/28/2013.
