Section 333.10118 - Good faith acts(1) A person that acts in good faith in accord with the terms of this part or with the anatomical gift laws of another state or a foreign country is not liable for damages in any civil or administrative action or subject to prosecution in any criminal proceeding.(2) Neither the person making an anatomical gift nor the donor's estate is liable for any injury or damage that results from the making or use of the gift.(3) In determining whether an anatomical gift has been made, amended, or revoked under this part, a person may rely upon representations of an individual listed in section 10109(1)(b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), or (h) relating to the individual's relationship to the donor or prospective donor unless the person knows that the representation is untrue.Added by 2008, Act 39,s 18 , eff. 5/1/2008.
