Section 324.61522 - Violations of part, rule, or order; penalties(1) Unless a penalty is otherwise provided for in this part, a person who violates this part or a rule or order promulgated or issued under this part is subject to a penalty of not more than $1,000.00. Each day the violation continues constitutes a separate offense. The penalty shall be recovered by an action brought by the supervisor.(2) A person aiding in the violation of this part or a rule or order promulgated or issued under this part is subject to the same penalties as are prescribed in this section for the person who committed the violation.(3) If the supervisor arbitrarily and capriciously violates section 61508(2), the supervisor is subject to the penalties prescribed in the freedom of information act, Act No. 442 of the Public Acts of 1976, being sections 15.231 to 15.246 of the Michigan Compiled Laws.Add. 1995, Act 57, Imd.
