Section 3811-A - DefinitionsAs used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings. [2007, c. 402, Pt. Q, §1(NEW).]
1. Board. "Board" means the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. [2007, c. 402, Pt. Q, §1(NEW).]
2.Mental illness. "Mental illness" means a clinically significant behavioral or psychological syndrome or pattern that occurs in an individual and that is typically associated with either a painful symptom or impairment in one or more important areas of functioning. [2007, c. 402, Pt. Q, §1(NEW).]
