1.Suspension by Secretary of State. The Secretary of State may suspend the right of a nonresident owner or operator to operate a vehicle in this State for the same cause and under the same condition and in the same manner as that action could be taken against a resident owner or operator of a vehicle registered in this State. 2.Effect of suspension. Upon suspension, the right of the nonresident owner or operator to operate a vehicle in this State terminates.
