1.Full stop. The operator of a school bus shall come to a full stop before crossing a railroad track at a point not more than 50 feet nor less than 15 feet from the nearest rail. [1993, c. 683, Pt. A, §2(NEW); 1993, c. 683, Pt. B, §5(AFF).]
2.Ensure no train. The operator shall ascertain beyond a reasonable doubt that no train, engine or conveyance is approaching on the track before proceeding to cross. [1993, c. 683, Pt. A, §2(NEW); 1993, c. 683, Pt. B, §5(AFF).]
3.Violation. A person commits a Class E crime if that person, while operating a school bus, fails to stop or yield the right-of-way as required by this section. [1993, c. 683, Pt. A, §2(NEW); 1993, c. 683, Pt. B, §5(AFF).]
