Section 11603 - Unlawful firearms for hunting moose1.Prohibition. A person may not use a .17 or .22 caliber rimfire firearm or a shotgun using shot loads to hunt moose. [2013, c. 236, §4 (AMD).]

2.Penalties. The following penalties apply to violations of subsection 1. A. A person who violates subsection 1 after having been adjudicated as having committed 3 or more civil violations under this Part within the previous 5-year period commits a Class E crime.
