Section 11211 - Unlawful use of firearm in Southport1. Prohibited act. A person may not use any firearm other than a shotgun in the Town of Southport or the islands within the confines of the Town of Southport. [2003, c. 655, Pt. B, §141(NEW); 2003, c. 655, Pt. B, §422(AFF).]
2.Penalties. The following penalties apply to violations of this section. A. A person who violates subsection 1 commits a civil violation for which a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 may be adjudged. [2007, c. 463, §5(AMD).]B. A person who violates subsection 1 after having been adjudicated as having committed 3 or more civil violations under this Part within the previous 5-year period commits a Class E crime.
