Section 30:2111 - Federal-state agreements by governor; effect on licenses or permitsA. The governor, on behalf of this state, may enter into agreements with the federal government providing for discontinuance of certain of the federal government's responsibilities with respect to byproduct, source, and special nuclear materials in quantities not sufficient to form a critical mass, and all other responsibilities not reserved to the federal government under the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (42 U.S.C. § 2011 et seq.), and the assumption thereof by this state.B. The governor, on behalf of this state, may enter into agreements with other states in order to establish a system of reciprocity between this state and other states which will facilitate interstate cooperation in accomplishing the purposes of this Chapter.Acts 1979, No. 449, §1, eff.
