Section 22:340.1 - Procedure following election or appointment of new officers or directorsA. Every foreign or alien insurer authorized to transact business in this state shall provide to the commissioner of insurance biographical information for all elected or appointed directors no more than sixty days from the effective date of the election or appointment.B. Every foreign or alien insurer authorized to transact business in this state shall provide to the commissioner of insurance biographical information for all elected or appointed senior officers no more than sixty days from the effective date of the election or appointment.C. For the purposes of this Section, "senior officers" shall mean president, secretary, chief executive officer, chief financial officer, actuary, controller, or any other person who performs the duties generally associated with those positions.D. In addition to the biographical information required by this Section, the notice of election or appointment of an officer or director shall include the full name of the insurer for which the individual is serving as an officer or director, his position with each company, the effective date of his election or appointment to the position, and, if the individual is replacing another person in the named position, the full name of the person who previously held the position.
