Section 15:571.42 - DefinitionsFor the purposes of this Part:
(1) "Conditions of probation" means the specification of formal terms and conditions which a defendant shall fulfill in order to have the charges against him dismissed in accordance with the provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure Article 894.(2) "Job intervention program" means a supervised employment program of probation established by rule in a judicial district pursuant to this Part.(3) "Probation" means referral of a defendant who has entered a plea of guilty in a misdemeanor or noncapital felony case to a supervised probation program as provided in Code of Criminal Procedure Article 894.(4) "Probationer" means a person who has been accepted into a job intervention program.Acts 2003, No. 803, §1, eff.
