§ 276. Commonwealth’s right of redemption upon sale of irrigated lands—Reimbursement of purchaser

The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico cannot exercise the right of redemption without reimbursing the purchaser or person making the exchange, for the price of the sale or exchange of the portion sought to be redeemed, for the proportional part of the expenses of the contract, and for any other necessary or useful expenses incurred by the person acquiring the property which is the object of redemption.
