§ 6319. Interagency Commission—Creation

The Interagency Commission is hereby created to macromanage and coordinate in an integrated manner the efforts of the Commonwealth and Municipal Governments required to advance the optimum development and promotion of sustainable tourism and ecotourism throughout the Island. The Interagency Commission shall be constituted by: the Secretary, the Chairperson of the Planning Board, the Director of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, the Director of the National Parks Company, the Secretary of the Department of Economic Development and Commerce, the Chairperson of the Mayor’s Association or his authorized representative, and the Chairperson of the Mayor’s Federation or his authorized representative, and the Executive Director of the Company, who shall preside over the works of the Commission. This Commission is the liaison between the government and the Office. The head of each agency shall designate a delegate to represent him.
