The Economic Stabilization Administrator is hereby empowered to establish fair and equitable maximum prices for essential services under the standards established by §§ 731—745 of this title, for the regulation of the prices of staple commodities. For the purposes of §§ 701—708 of this title, the term “essential service” shall mean nonprofessional service.
