(a) The Dr. Ramón E. Ramírez-Quiles Estate building, former Ramírez-Quiles Clinic (1892), which is located at #62 West Méndez-Vigo Street in the city of Mayagüez, is hereby declared a historic monument.
(b) The Planning Board, with the counsel and in coordination with the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, shall take the necessary steps to comply with the provision of subsection (a) of this section, and shall include the Dr. Ramón E. Ramírez-Quiles Estate building, as the future headquarters of the Ateneo Mayagüezano, on the list of historic sites and places, pursuant to the provisions of the legislation in effect and the Historic Sites and Zones Regulation, Planning Regulation No. 5.
