§ 227n. Special plan—Vieques and Ceiba

Given the eventual cession or transfer of land property of the Government of the United States of America to the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico located in the Municipalities of Vieques and Ceiba and in view of any other transfer of that sort that may take place in the future, the Planning Board shall establish or amend the Special Land-Use and the Special Zoning Plans or Regulations so as to render them compatible with the public policy provided in this chapter and with the sustainable development plans to be implemented by the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the municipalities and the Government of the United States in the aforementioned land transferred or to be transferred.

Said Plan shall be submitted not later than one hundred and eighty (180) days from the moment the cession or transfer of the land is conducted or from the effective date of this act. In the case of land that has already been transferred or is in the way of being transferred, the Planning Board shall determine the applicable procedure through regulations.
