§ 4907. Gifts

The Office of the Commissioner may accept gifts of money or property and receive funds as appropriations, advances, or other similar benefits from non-profit institutions, municipalities, the central government or the federal government and its agencies and instrumentalties. Gifts or funds thus given and accepted by the Commissioner shall be subject, to the extent applicable, to §§ 1101 et seq. of Title 3, and its regulations. These funds shall be deposited in a special account in the name of the Office at the Treasury Department.
