(a) Disciplinary actions for slight faults shall be established in the regulations, which shall determine which officers and other members of the Corps are empowered to investigate and make recommendations to the Commissioner on the disciplinary action recommended in each case.
(b) If the member of the Corps who is punished or sanctioned for a slight fault does not agree with it, he/she may file the corresponding writ of appeal before the Commissioner. The writ shall be filed within ten (10) days, counted from the date the sanction or punishment was served.
(c) The Commissioner is empowered to set aside or confirm the punishment, or impose any other that he may deem reasonable, after examining and analyzing the record pursuant to the provisions of this chapter or the regulations adopted hereunder.
