The Secretary of Health shall inform the keepers of the Registers of all such diseases as are considered contagious or transmissible and dangerous to public health, and when a death due to any of said diseases is registered, the keeper of the Register shall immediately notify the health officer of the district on a printed form prepared for the purpose, so that the latter may take the necessary precautions to prevent the propagation of such disease.
