Any violation of this chapter shall be punished by a minimum fine of fifty dollars ($50) and a maximum fine of five hundred dollars ($500), but subsequent violations shall be punished by a minimum fine of two hundred dollars ($200) and a maximum fine of one thousand dollars ($1,000), or by confinement in jail for thirty (30) days, or both, in the discretion of the court.
