(a) Commonwealth funds.— The Government of Puerto Rico, through the Department of Health, shall continue guaranteeing an annual recurring appropriation of two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for the Registry's operation. This chapter does not impair the Registry from receiving or soliciting funds or aid as money, goods, or services from any instrumentality of the Government of Puerto Rico, or appropriations from the Legislative Assembly in order to continue operating. Such funds shall be covered into the Special Fund of the Registry.
(b) Funds.— The Registry may solicit, accept, and receive funds or aids as money, goods, or services from any federal government agency in order to continue operating. Such funds shall be covered into the Special Fund of the Registry.
