Personnel assigned to implement this chapter shall wear a uniform as determined by the Superintendent of Police, and shall be provided with credentials to be shown to the persons concerned before searching them. The search shall be [conducted] in a respectful way, and as brief as possible.
Manual search of persons shall be carried out by individuals of the same sex as the person involved, and in appropriate places guaranteeing the greatest privacy.
