Every person who violates the provisions of this chapter or of the regulations adopted pursuant thereto, shall incur a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be sanctioned with a penalty consisting of a fine of five hundred dollars (500).
Every person who furnishes false information to the Office shall incur a felony and shall be subject to the penalty of imprisonment for the term of one (1) year, or a fine of one thousand dollars ($1,000), or both penalties at the discretion of the court.
