§ 286a. Destination of funds

All funds deriving from the sale of internal revenue stamps cancelled by the Superintendent in accordance with §§ 285k, 285t and 285u of this title shall be covered into the General Fund of the State Treasury and the Puerto Rico Police Technological, Professional and Labor Development Fund (hereinafter the Police Fund), as follows: of the stamps cancelled to obtain or renew a security guard license under the provisions of subsection (b) of § 285c of this title, two dollars ($2) shall be covered into the General Fund of the State Treasury and eight dollars ($8) to the Police Fund; of the stamps cancelled to obtain or renew a private detective license under the provisions of subsection (a) of § 285c of this title, five dollars ($5) shall be covered into the General Fund of the State Treasury, and twenty dollars ($20) to the Police Fund; and of the stamps cancelled to obtain or renew a license for a private detective agency and for a safety agency for the protection of persons or real or personal property, the first twenty-five dollars ($25) shall be covered into the General Fund of the State Treasury and, any additional amount received, into the Police Fund.
