§ 2819. Reconsideration of orders or decisions

Any person affected adversely by any order or final decision of the Board may request a reconsideration thereof within the term of fifteen (15) days after receiving a copy of said order or decision. The reconsideration shall be a requirement before proceeding with an appeal for judicial review.

The filing of the petition for reconsideration shall not exempt any person from complying or obeying any order or decision of the Board, nor shall it act as a stay or postponement of said order or decision, unless a special order is issued by the Board. The petition for reconsideration shall specifically include the grounds therefor. The Board shall be empowered to grant or deny the reconsideration, or to suspend, amend or revoke its order or decision, with or without a hearing.
