§ 2704. Removal and vacancies

The Governor of Puerto Rico may remove any member of the Board upon the filing of charges, due notice and hearing, for immorality, negligence, having been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor involving moral turpitude, and incompetence.

The Governor shall fill the vacancies on the Board by appointment with the advice and consent of the Senate. The person designated to fill a vacancy shall hold office until the term of the person who he/she is appointed to substitute has expired.
