Any person who engages in the practice of naturopathy in Puerto Rico without the corresponding license, or who employs another unlicensed person to practice the same, shall incur a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be punished with a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500), or imprisonment for a term of not less than one (1) month, nor more than six (6) months, or both penalties, at the discretion of the court.
In case the offense is repeated, it shall bring about a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor greater than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or imprisonment for a term of not less than six (6) months, nor more than three (3) years, or both penalties, at the discretion of the court.
