§ 2125. Penalties

Every person who, without being duly collegiated, practices in Puerto Rico the profession of beautician and every person who, without being duly licensed by the Board practices or advertises himself as such beautician, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) or more than one hundred dollars ($100), in case of recidivism by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) or more than three hundred dollars ($300) or by imprisonment in jail for not less than one (1) month or more than six (6) months or both penalties in the discretion of the court.
