P.R. Laws tit. 20, § 2091
(1) Dental technologist. — Any person who prepares dental prosthesis work on inert matter by written prescription of an authorized dentist, to be delivered to the dentist requesting it.
(2) Dental laboratory. — Place where the dental technologist works.
(3) Board. — Puerto Rico Dental Technologists Examining Board.
(4) License. — Every document duly issued by the Board in which it is certified that the person in whose behalf it is issued is a dental technologist duly certified to practice the profession, according to the provisions of this chapter.
(5) Secretary. — Secretary of the Department of Health of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
(6) Recertification. — Procedure provided in §§ 3001 et seq. of Title 24 for health professionals.
