§ 2014. Officers

(a) The College Officials who are also members of the Board of Directors, shall be the chair, the vice chair, the secretary, the treasurer, and the delegates, as provided in the bylaws.

(b) The members of the Board of Directors shall be elected for a two (2)- year term and may be reelected for one (1) additional term for a total of four (4) years in the Board of Directors.

(c) All candidates to an elective office in the Board of Directors must be a registered member of the College and have his/her dues up to date prior to the elections.

(d) Candidates to elective offices in the Board of Directors must have a good moral reputation.

(e) Before swearing in, any elected or reelected member of the Board of Directors must submit a criminal record certificate issued by the Superintendent of the Puerto Rico Police attesting that the person has not been convicted and that no probable cause for his/her arrest has ever been found.

(f) The candidates to elective offices in the Board of Directors must have met the continuing education requirements provided in this chapter prior to the elections.
