For the purposes of this chapter, “embalming” shall mean the preservation of bodies through injections in the arteries and cavities of the bodies of antiseptic solutions which retard natural decay and through the plugging of orifices, in accordance with the procedures that the Board of Embalmers may prescribe or authorize through regulations adopted to that effect.
