On and after the date this act takes effect, the Board of Medical Examiners of Puerto Rico shall credit every physician who has served in the armed forces of the nation the time they have served in like manner and for the same purposes as if such service had been rendered as an intern in a recognized hospital or as town physician of any of the municipalities of the Commonwealth, so as to admit them to revalidation examinations.
