§ 471s. Stamp

Every report of results or certification of an analysis issued by a licensed chemist in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical or chemical industry, food industry [or] analytical labratory as a consultant, or in other entities, with quality control programs or for other purposes, with the exception of the government agencies, shall bear a stamp which shall be adopted and issued by the College of Chemists of Puerto Rico. Said stamp shall have a nominal value of one dollar ($1) and the proceeds collected by this means shall be used in the Continuing Education Program that will be jointly sponsored and regulated by the Board with the College of Chemists.

As of the fiscal year in which the proceeds from the sale of stamps exceed 250% of the proceeds during 1995-1996, the nominal value of the required stamp shall be reduced to fifty (50) cents of a dollar. This stamp shall be canceled with the seal of a licensed chemist, thus certifying the validity of the document.
