The Board shall be responsible for offering an examination, at least once a year, and shall have the discretion to hold a greater number of examinations if it deems it to be necessary and to set the date and place where said examinations shall be held.
The date on which the examination shall be held shall be published three (3) times, thirty (30) days in advance of said date, in a conspicuous place, in two (2) newspapers of general circulation in Puerto Rico.
The examination shall cover all subjects appropriate to the activity of roof waterproofing, coating and repair contractor, at the time of administering said examination.
The Board is hereby empowered to establish, through the conditions and requirements it deems necessary, reciprocity on examination areas and licenses with the corresponding bodies of the states of the United States of America (U.S.A.). However, all persons shall meet the requirements of being registered and certified as a roof waterproofing, coating and repair contractor by the Department of Consumer Affairs of Puerto Rico.
