The Board shall have the following powers and responsibilities:
(a) Amend the pertinent regulations in order to adapt them to the provisions of this chapter.
(b) Hold hearings on the issues covered by this chapter, and compel the appearance of witnesses and present evidence.
(c) Issue the orders that it may deem necessary to achieve the purposes of this chapter, and ensure compliance through administrative or judicial proceedings.
(d) Request, collect and disclose information on the management, treatment, transportation, and disposal of biomedical waste.
