The funds budgeted in each agency under the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee for projects with the U.S. Geological Survey shall be consigned annually to the special fund in the Department of the Treasury, pursuant to this section and Section 8 of this act. When an agency member of the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee wishes to contract separately with the U.S. Geological Survey, it must consult the President and Treasurer of the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee to determine that the services required are not included in the main agreement to be subscribed by the U.S. Geological Survey with the Joint Cooperative Agreement Committee.
