§ 1976i. Advisory Council—Per diems

Advisory Council members shall receive a per diem of fifty dollars ($50) per meeting they attend, or for their attendance to sessions or committee meetings, per session, special or committee meeting, meeting of any other body, or performance of a task authorized by the President of the Advisory Council to which they attend, except those who are heads of agencies of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and its instrumentalities, except for the President of the Advisory Council, who shall receive a per diem equal to one hundred thirty-three percent (133%) of the per diem received by all other Advisory Council members.

Advisory Council members that receive a pension for merit or years of service or an annuity from the Employee Retirement Systems Administration of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or from any of its agencies, instrumentalities, public corporations or political subdivisions, may receive the payment of per diems without impairing his/her right to the retirement pension or annuity.
