The Board of Directors shall also be responsible for the designation of an Executive Director who shall be in charge of the administration, execution and overseeing compliance with the public policy set forth by the Board, and shall be an ex officio member of same. The Executive Director shall be appointed for a term of ten (10) years and shall only be removed by the Board of Directors for just cause, with prior bringing of charges and granted the opportunity to be heard.
Only persons who are, as with the members of the Board, of acknowledged personal and professional integrity, objectivity and competence in any field of statistics, economics and planning [may be appointed to the office of Executive Director].
