§ 830p-1. Assistant coordinator

The appointing authority may designate an assistant coordinator in those agencies, instrumentalities, municipalities or public enterprises under §§ 761 et seq. of this title, known as the “Employees Retirement System of the Government of Puerto Rico and its Instrumentalities”, that have more than two thousand (2,000) employees.

The assistant coordinator shall work under the supervision of the coordinator who shall give his/her instructions about his/her functions and who shall furthermore substitute [for] the coordinator when the needs of the service so require.
