In order to achieve the purposes of this chapter, the investigating official may request the services, facilities and personnel of any public agency, which may provide or [offer] them. Provided, That any official or employee of a public agency who is temporarily transferred to the Office by virtue of the provisions of this section, shall retain all the rights, benefits, classification, and position he/she holds in the public agency in question.
The investigating official may likewise request that any agency carry out any study or investigation he/she deems necessary to comply with the purposes of this chapter.
Furthermore, in order to achieve the purposes of this chapter, the investigating official may request that any government agencies and dependencies create interagency task forces, if deemed necessary.
