§ 429h. Penalties

Every person who violates the provisions of any regulation approved by virtue of §§ 429—429i of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment in jail for a term of not less than ten (10) days nor more than ninety (90) days or by both penalties at the discretion of the court. In the case of a second offense, a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) shall be imposed, or imprisonment in jail for a term of not less than twenty (20) days, nor more than one hundred eighty (180) days, or both penalties at the discretion of the court.
