§ 295d. Family advocate—Powers

Family Advocates have the powers and attributions proper to a prosecutor, but they shall exercise them only in relation to actions that they handle in cases concerning family matters pursuant to the terms of §§ 291—295u of this title. When the Secretary so determines, they may exercise the functions and handle any other matter he/she deems appropriate pursuant to the needs of the service.
