§ 8829. Filing of reorganization and modernization plans

The filing of reorganization plans with the Legislative Assembly shall be made simultaneously in both Houses, not later than forty-five days (45) days before the adjournment of a Regular Session, and not less than twenty-five (25) days before the calling of a Special Session, if such plans are to be considered during such Special Session. If the Governor files a reorganization plan within less than forty-five (45) days before the adjournment of a Regular Session, such session shall be extended by means of a Joint Resolution for the number of days needed for completing such forty-five (45) days, only to complete the filing process of the reorganization plan during the days added to the Session.
