(a) The Governor is hereby empowered to delegate to any officer of the Executive Branch of the Government whose appointment requires approval by the Senate or to any member of his corps of assistants, those functions and duties imposed upon him by law and whose delegation does not run counter to specific provisions of law or to the Constitution of the Commonwealth. Such delegation shall be in writing through a proclamation or administrative bulletin signed by the Governor.
(b) For the purposes of this section, “corps of assistants” shall mean the officers and employees of the Office of the Governor.
