§ 4932. Refusal of witness to appear, testify or submit evidence

Any person who, having been summoned to appear as a witness before either House of the Legislature, municipal legislature or any of the committees thereof, refuses to appear, and acquiesce to the same or fails to do so without a legitimate use, or who, in the presence of any House of the Legislature, municipal legislature or any of the committees thereof obstinately refuses to be sworn in, answer to any material and pertinent question, or to produce any book, document or record in his/her possession or control after being given a reasonable term for the same, shall incur a fourth degree felony.
