In general terms, moral rights cannot be waived. However, the author or rightful claimant may, through a written and signed document, waive his right of integrity in whole or in part. Such waiver may be established with an electronic signature.
The waiver described in this section can be executed at any time and shall be valid for a work even if the same was created prior to the effectiveness of this act. In the case of a joint work that has two or more authors, a waiver from one of them shall suffice unless otherwise agreed.
