The mortgage given as security shall be recorded in the registry of property. The security of any kind whatsoever, and after the approval thereof by the proper court, shall be deposited, if its nature so allows, in the vault of the office of the Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico, and it shall remain at the care and under the responsibility of said official.
