§ 33149. License to operate as motor vehicle trader or seller and penalty for operating without such license

Any trader or seller of motor vehicles, whether new or used, who operates as such without having obtained a license pursuant to the provisions of § 31711(a) of this title and §§ 5001 et seq. of Title 9, known as the “Puerto Rico Vehicle and Traffic Act”, shall be subject to an civil fine of ten thousand dollars ($10,000), regardless of any criminal sanctions provided for in this Code and in the Puerto Rico Vehicle and Traffic Act.
