This act shall be effective immediately after its approval. Applications for tax exemption under this chapter will be received by the Industrial Tax Exemption Office established hereunder until June 30, 1988; after said date no new tax exemption applications will be admitted for consideration under this chapter. Provided, That the taxes provided for by this chapter shall be effective during the term for which the tax exemption concessions issued under the same remain in effect.
