(a) Micro-business.— Means a business of goods or services whose annual gross sales do not exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) and has seven (7) employees or less.
(b) Small business.— Means a business of goods or services whose annual gross sales exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) but not do not exceed three million dollars ($3,000,000) and has more than seven (7) but not more than twenty-five (25) employees.
(c) Medium business.— Means a business of goods or services whose annual gross sales exceed three million dollars ($3,000,000) but not do not exceed ten million dollars ($10,000,000).
(d) Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company.— Means the government instrumentality whose ministerial duty is to implement the public policy on the development of commerce in Puerto Rico, emphasizing on micro, small, and medium business owners.
(e) Economic Development Bank for Puerto Rico.— Means the government instrumentality that has the mission of providing financing mechanisms to promote economic and entrepreneurial development in Puerto Rico, especially those financial and training programs and resources aimed at micro, small, and medium business owners.
